What it's doing out there

The spots
Wind on each card is the latest station reading. Surf height comes from the NWS surf zone forecast.
Outlook
Days marked NWS surf call use the National Weather Service surf forecast. Days marked Model estimate use NOAA wave models, and those ratings are rough guesses. Swipe sideways on your phone.
Nearshore = NWS gridded wave forecast about 1.5 miles off PCB, in whole feet. Offshore = NOAA WaveWatch III at buoy 42039, about 115 miles out. Offshore heights are much bigger than what breaks on the sandbar. Model estimates come from the average nearshore height and the dawn wind, and they can be off.
Buoy readings
NOAA buoys far out in the Gulf. These show what's coming, not what's breaking on the sandbar.
